Leave Your Baby At Home

Be Careful How You Carry That Baby
The Huffington Post announced today that the Consumer Product Safety Commission is expected to issue a warning about baby slings. Various critics of the sling complain that they force the baby’s head forward into a position that makes it difficult to breathe, while others worry that it presses the baby into its mothers chest, making it difficult to breathe.
Since November, the CPSC has also issued recalls on at least three brands of strollers, including McLaren, CYBEX, and, most recently, a recall of approximately 1.5 million Graco strollers. It also recalled Dorel infant car seat/carriers in December.
We’re not sure if there is a world sabotage on babies, or if the CPSC just really wants you to leave your baby at home. But if you’d like to transport your baby, be very, very careful.
